Blanca A. Camargo is Associate Professor of international tourism in the Business School at Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico. She holds a master´s degrees in Restaurant, Hospitality and Tourism Management from Purdue University (USA) and International Tourism from the Associazione per l’Istituzione della Libera Università Nuorese (Italy). In 2011, Dr. Camargo received her doctoral degree from Texas A&M University and her research is oriented towards sustainable tourism with a focus on ethics and justice in tourism development, marketing and management. She is also interested in examining aspects of cultural relationships with nature and sustainable tourism and ethics pedagogy. Since 2012, Dr. Camargo is a member of Mexico National System of Researchers and has won international awards for her research in sustainable tourism.
