Miroslav Vujicic is assistant professor at the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel  Management, Faculty of Sciences and also the Programme Leader for the BA (hons) Tourism  Management at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia. He holds lectures on all three study cycles. His main field of research is cultural  tourism, heritage management, cultural interpretation, decision-making process and  application of mathematical methods in tourism research. In these fields of  research he has published many research papers in national and international journals and has  more than 90 citations in the Scopus database. He has been a presenter at many international and  national conferences and has been an organizational board member of important international scientific conferences regarding research in tourism and geography.

He is a member of a National Project  funded by Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia  (project number 176020) and Erasmus+ KA2 CB in HEI (CULTURWB No. 574193-2016). He was appointed as chief evaluator for the Novi Sad 2021 European Capital of Culture project. Mirsolav is a member  of several international scientific organizations and he is the technical editor for “International Scientific  Journal Turizam”, as well as department coordinator for international affairs, student and staff  mobility
