The IJTC-ITSA Urban Tourism Research Hall of Fame was created by IJTC and ITSA to recognize the pioneers and major contributors to the field.
The aim is to raise the profile of urban tourism research by recognizing academics and practitioners who have made significant contributions to the field.
Inductees are selected once per year by a panel of judges from IJTC and ITSA based on the number of citations of articles and books in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar, h-indexes, and length of service to the research field.
