The International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA) and the International Journal of Tourism Cities created the Urban Tourism Research Hall of Fame to recognize the pioneers and major contributors in the field.
Inductees are selected once per year by a panel of judges from IJTC and ITSA based on the following:
โก Number of citations of articles and books in Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar, h-indexes, and
โก Length of service to the research field.
